Full Time Pharmacy Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

The Full Time Pharmacy Assistant is responsible for assisting the Pharmacy Manager with day-to-day tasks. Some responsibilities include patient greeting and the confirmation of accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling, data entry of patient care information into Kroll. Third Party adjudication (if necessary), maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems, general OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary, handling customer prescription pick up, and assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy.

Qualifications: •Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is an asset •Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation •Strong communication skills written and verbal •Proficient computer/ data entry skills in Nexxsys •Demonstrated customer service experience •Strong motivation to succeed

Flex schedule – days, weekends and evenings
