3D Rail Services is looking for the following positions to be filled (Truck Driver / equipment operator)

Position:

We are expanding our rail division and are looking for a full time truck driver, Class 1 with Air / equipment operator to support our team. This position is responsible for day-to-day duties on site needed to complete work in a safe and timely fashion and maintain a clean work site. This position requires the Truck Driver to work long hours in a fast-paced environment and in extreme weather conditions.

This position requires you to be on call 24/7 and must be willing to work out of town at a moment’s notice.

This position must also adhere to our safety programs and work policies.

Having previous 9 Axle, step deck, lowbed and End dump and equipment experience is a must.
Must have a good driving history and no criminal record.

Responsibilities:

Follow ALL safety policies and procedures
Be cognizant of and adhere to any site-specific safety requirements
Take part in all safety related meetings, and follow all rules.
Keep up to date driver logs and Pre trip reports
Clean, lubricate and fuel all equipment and general site housekeeping
Notify supervisor and or repair shop of any required work to be done
Required to be on call 24-7 for Emergency response out of town work
Other related duties as required

Qualifications:

Previous trucking experience with 9 Axle, Lowbed, Step Deck, End Dump
Valid Class 1 driver’s license with Air Endorsement is required
Able to operate equipment mainly excavator
Able to complete driver logs and pre trip reports
Basic comprehension and ability to follow Workplace Health and Safety requirements relevant to the assigned work site
Able to follow instructions and read a map if given a location
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, and securing loads properly
Strong work ethic and willingness to persevere through difficult weather conditions, challenging work site environments, and long demanding work days
Willingness to work away from home if necessary
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting a minimum of 75lbs
Ability to manage weather and/or seasonal interruptions in work schedule
Fit-for-Work each day
Live no further than 40 minutes from the East side of Winnipeg
Must be available 24-7 with the ability to travel to various work locations as well as be on-call for Emergency response calls.
