Job Description:We are seeking a Pre-Engineered Building Installer and Foreman’s to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation and repair of various machinery and equipment. Responsibilities:Reviewing building packing slips for correct quantity and type of building components.Installation of the foundation for the building which varies project to project.Assembling steel components of the building structure.Mechanical pulling of and tensioning of fabric over the building structure.Ability to understand blueprints and orders.Basic phone and computer skills.Driving machinery (Telehandlers/Aerial lifts).Communicating with the Foreman or Site Supervisor.Commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment by ensuring safety and company policies are followed and understood.Required to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, safety shoes, and any other PPE required for specific jobs. Some jobs may require an employee to be clean-shaven.Candidates will have the ability to lift 50 lbs and work outside for long hours in various weather conditions while working at heights.Perform other duties as needed. This position requires travel for up to three weeks at a time, working 10-12 hours per day, seven days a week for projects located across Western Canada. Qualifications:Experience in the installation of fabric buildings.Experience in the installation of steel buildings.Ability to work in a team environment.Previous construction experience.Valid driver’s license (must be willing to provide driver’s abstract).Reliable transportation.Drug and Alcohol testing may be required. Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following:Experience working with a COR registered company.Telehandler certification.Fall Protection certification.Elevated Work Platform certification.First Aid certification.Company Description:Cobra Construction was founded in 2009 as a general contracting company.
