MELT Training Instructor


Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a Class 1 MELT certified Instructor to join our team. The MELT Training Instructor is responsible for the effective training to new drivers in a safe and controlled manner, while exhibiting a positive attitude. The instructor must demonstrate a student-first philosophy.

Job Duties:

  • Provide classroom sessions for new trainees;
  • Daily assessment of driving skills;
  • On the road evaluations;
  • Work independently and within a team environment;
  • Be accessible to drivers with any questions or concerns they may have with training & development.


  • MELT certified and able to pass the trainer certification with the Ministry of Transportation;
  • Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and Emergency Procedures;
  • Valid Class 1 Drivers License required;
  • Satisfactory Drivers Abstract required;
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred;
  • Winter driving experience is required.
