Legal Assistant – Corporate Commercial

Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Corporate Commercial Legal Assistant to join a prestigious law firm in the heart of downtown Winnipeg.

Do you have minimum of 2 years ‘ experience in Corporate Commercial law? Do you have experience dealing with financings, land titles and the companies office? Are you very organized, thrive in a busy work environment and pay high attention to detail? Are you tech-savvy, and enjoy doing research? Are you a fast learner and a great team player? Responsibilities
– Preparing and drafting legal documents
– Performing conflict checks and client calls
– Calendar management
– Performing due diligence searches
– Preparing and filing corporate documents, setting up new corporations and preparing books
– Dealing with land titles, companies office as well as financings
– Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications
– Successful completion of a legal assistant program
– Minimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Commercial law
– Ability to work well in a team setting as well as independently
– Excellent attention to detail outstanding multi-tasking skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize a heavy workload
– Tech -Savvy: Great understanding of Excel and MS Office
– Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
