Hiring HVAC Assistant Technician – Casual/PT


Synoptic Heating & Cooling is searching to add to their team a motivated HVAC Technician. The HVAC Technician will service, repair and installing all types of furnaces & hot water tanks.

On the job and manufacturers training will be provided to the right candidate(s). You will be working in a very friendly environment and will have the opportunity for great satisfaction working us and our clients.

An understanding of basic mechanical skills and strong customer service skills is preferred. Someone that has experience in the HVAC or related service industry would be an ideal candidate but not necessary.


We are family owned and ran, so the person must have strong ethics, must believe in hard work and is willing to put the team and our clients first.


Must be mechanically inclined (ability to use basic tools).
Basic electrical skills, with problem solving abilities (knowledge of basic circuits an asset).
Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Good customer service skills; ability to communicate English verbally and in writing.
Ability to adapt to different environments and workplaces.
Ability to work as part of a team and take instruction from the senior technician.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift heavy objects, maximum 100 lbs. (45 kg).
Valid Manitoba Driver’s License; acceptable driving Abstract.
