Job Description and Responsibilities

Supervision of hourly employees, help preparing team to operate safely while still focusing on the needs of our customers. Helping to meet and exceed processing goals on a daily basis. Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the shredder, and mobile equipment used to process yard material. Train and monitor employees including lead hands, operators and laborers. Assist in development and enforcement of the EVRAZ safety program.

Train and monitor employees including lead hands, operators and laborers
Help to meet and exceed processing goals on a daily basis and ensure safe and efficient operation of the shredder, and mobile equipment used to process yard material
Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Safety, Health and other Company policies, procedures and requirements
Assist in development and enforcement of the EVRAZ safety program
Monitor small repairs of equipment
Conduct and report daily safety observations
Ensure work areas are cleaned
Performs other duties as they might be assigned

Requirements

1-3 years of leadership roles (military, lead hand, supervisor or management experience)
Mechanical or electrical tickets not need but encouraged
Ability to lead inside and outside workforce
Ability to build and retain a strong team
Strong planning and organizational skills
Knowledge of Heavy equipment and processing components is a definite asset
Capacity and desire to grow professionally
