Some of the qualities/skills we are seeking in candidates include:
– Knowledge of crushers, screening plants, conveyors, loaders, equipment considered an asset
– Passion for safety and knowledge and understanding of the Safety Act and relevant standards
– Willingness to learn and take direction
– Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools
– Perform general maintenance and general repairs and regular service on crushing and screening equipment daily
– Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records
– Daily record keeping and daily production schedules for submitting reports on production and maintenance
– General cleanliness of assigned equipment.
– Perform other related duties as required
– Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, bend and lift up to 80 pounds
– Physical abilities including long periods of standing, lifting, working at heights
– Minimum of 1 year related experience required
– Ability to communicate orally and in writing
– Welding/torch cutting experience desired
– Communicate effectively with Quality Control Supervisor
