Teen Parent Centre – Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies Program Coordinator Through a community development approach, this Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program aims to reduce the incidence of unhealthy birth weights, improve the health of both infant and mother and encourage breastfeeding through one-to-one counseling, care and support to our clients. The program enhances access to services that meet the needs of pregnant women and parents who may be facing conditions of risk. Looking for Registered Nurses with: • Extensive background in community health nursing • Excellent working knowledge in pre and postnatal nutrition • Knowledge and experience promoting and supporting breastfeeding • Experience working with young adults • Excellent communication skills • Experience and knowledge of First Nations and diverse cultures • Strong organizational skills • Ability to implement and evaluate a Work Plan using a goal objective framework • Demonstrated flexibility/adaptability to meet demanding/ changing schedules • Ability to prepare computer-generated quarterly and year end reports • Experience creating and adhering to financial budgets • Valid Driver’s License with a vehicle (class 4 preferred) • Creative and innovative skills and experiences would be an asset Teen Parent Access to Education Society would encourage you to apply for this exciting and challenging position if you have the identified qualifications and/or related work experience.
