Background Beginning mid-May, Our client requires an BI Developer to support in the development of a new Hosting and Application Development Framework project. The BI Developer is responsible for implementing the BI Strategy by developing data models and business reports, and contributing to data governance efforts. This role expected to operate at a senior level and have a solid understanding of the challenges in working on projects in a complex public sector environment. To support the clients long-term growth strategy and vision, a dedicated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program is required to address the complexity of thier operational process and systems requirements. We are looking for a versatile, collaborative professional who can adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced team environment. Specialized experience with higher education, finance and/or human resources applications is preferred. All work must be completed on site in Victoria. Required Knowledge & Skills To qualify for a position, you must possess the following knowledge and skills:Understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles and practices;Proven experience in the design and implementation of a Microsoft BI stack;Experience with ETL processes;Ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups;Ability to work in an agile or hybrid environment;Experience in a higher education setting;Experience with business transformation or system implementation projects;Ability to apply best practices and methods for data governance, data modelling and report design. Assets The following will be considered strong assets for this role:An ability to travel for work;Any other industry recognized certifications, specifically in Business Analysis (CBAP), Change Management (PROSCI) or Agile).
