Kwong Fung Food Processing Factory Ltd. (KFF in short) was incorporated in BC in 1994. Beginning as an Asian supermarket, we kept on growing and remodeling to fit ourselves into the competitive Vancouver market. We started off from a 5,000 square feet store and have grown our premises to currently owning a warehouse with over 40,000 square feet and more than 15 vehicles to serve our customers. We import our products from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and the USA, plus we also have a strong representation of domestic products. Together with these suppliers, they allow KFF to offer the most complete line of Asian products in the industry and we actively serve more than 1,000 customers all over Canada. As part of our business expansion, we are seeking for a driven Vice General Manager to support management in matters relating to Human Resources Management and Administration.

The responsibilities of the Vice General Manager – Admin & HR include but not limited to the following:
• Attend Board of Director’s meeting, responsible for analyzing and making recommendations to improve work processes including daily operations, general management, administration and human resources management;
• Provide direction and leadership to ensure effective and safe operations, complete customer satisfaction, and long-term sustainable growth;
• Develop operating procedures, analyze various requirements and allocate funds to ensure efficiency and timely department operation;
• Ensure compliance of established company policies and regulations to strengthen the work teams and enhance work efficiency;
• Lead company to create and improve departmental structure and key position structure by cooperating with department managers and senior management team to increase management effectiveness and cost effectiveness;
• Select key department management staffs, and responsible for hiring, training, and supporting key management positions;
• Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place;
• Ensure all emergency customer complaints are promptly dealt with and corrected immediately;
• Collect data from department managers and generate report for senior management team about company’s fund usage, cost analysis and budget control;
• Encourage team collaboration and communication to develop a strong workplace culture and positive work environment;
• Perform other duties as required by top management to promote and maintain brand name and company image.

• A university degree or above
• A minimum of five years’ senior management experience in a similar role is required
• Solid knowledge and understanding of human resource management and administrative procedures
• Strong business acumen with communication proficiency, problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking
• Strong people/client management skills; strong teamwork and team leadership skills; cooperative working style
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential
• Possess outstanding analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate a high sense of urgency with the ability to work independently and prioritize on an ongoing basis with a high volume of ever-changing deals
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekends is required
