Responsibilities
Minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience with a preference for experience in consulting engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Registered P.Eng. with EGBC.
Able to visit our clients on site between 20% to 40% of the time.
Experience in industrial building structural repair (mining and utility sector).
Experience in seismic engineering for equipment anchorage design.
Ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team (civil/structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers).
Experience in dam safety review for concrete dams and finite element modeling.
Technical and proposal writing skills.
Proven track record of delivering projects of rigorous, high technical quality and exceeding client expectations.
Hands-on project experience in industrial and hydropower sites and infrastructure design.
A collaborative approach to finding innovative solutions to project needs.
A high-performing achiever who strives to deliver can adapt to change and rebound from setbacks.
Excellent communication skills; able to express ideas and expectations clearly, active listener, open to suggestions and feedback.
An ongoing learner who seeks out opportunities for challenge and development while coaching others.
Team player who can build positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
