Responsibilities
Inventory systems architecture design, detailed functional and technical design, review and implementation.
Architecting the solutions in integration layers, core product modules (RMS, ReSA,RPM, ReIM), database components.
Driving the design and development for application UI and batch changes, automation framework, performance improvement initiatives.
Working with other Principal/Senior architects and business partners to contribute to defining
Inventory System short term and long-term roadmaps.
Bringing in best practices for quick identification and modification of process gaps, several
standardized methodologies, reusable artifacts in the projects with prior exposure and expertise in package solution
Collaborating with other integration, application teams for triaging business critical issues
impacting multiple applications.
driving planned and unplanned infrastructure maintenance activities impacting the applications
Being the key point of contact for resolving any critical production incidents
Design and build distributed systems & APIs that integrate with a larger merchandising
retail ecosystem.
Serves as a key architect resource in cross functional team dealing with challenging architecture problem or opportunity.
Makes decisions which influence and impact the success of cross-team initiatives.
Resolves complex engineering problems, collaborating with others.
Takes accountability for resolving specific issues within a particular area, application, technology or system.
Work in a true Agile environment where all team members are expected to own the solution including deployment, testing, quality, monitoring and operational excellence.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams – business stakeholders, engineers, program management, project management etc. to produce the most optimal solutions.
Works in a DevOps model to own the end to end solution from development to delivery and support.
Strive for continuous improvement of code quality and development practices.
Contribute to story sizing and work estimates for implementation, validation, delivery
and documentation
Participate in design and code review to ensure quality and testability of feature
Adjust positively to quickly changing priorities and shifting goals
Understands, leverages and applies best practices effectively

Qualifications
BS Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field
7+ years of professional experience in Oracle Retail applications ( RMS/RPM/ReSA/RIB ) as Senior Architect
2+ years of experience in the retail or e-commerce space
2+ years of experience in Oracle DB, Experience in Git, JSON, Kafka, XML,
Skills/experience:
Oracle Retail applications ( RMS/RPM/ReSA/RIB )
Core Java & J2EE Platform (Web-services & JDBC)
Git, JSON, XML, Shell Scripting Languages
API development technologies (REST & SOAP)
Oracle Database, PL/SQL packages
Objected oriented principles and Java design patterns.
Strong verbal and written communication
OCI experience is a plus
