Position Overview:

SECURE Energy is looking for a new member to join the Environmental Solutions Division. The Receptionist is responsible for front desk reception and general administrative support to the Environmental Services Division with a focus on attention to detail and problem solving. As our Receptionist, you will work on a variety of responsibilities with the opportunity for professional growth. The successful candidate must be positive, self-motivated and directed, and thoroughly capable in general office management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

– Greet clients and visitors in a professional manner
– Serve as the main point of contact for general office needs
– Manage office services such as janitorial and building maintenance
– Liase with property management company
– Handle incoming calls and ensure queries are directed to the proper individuals and departments
– Ensure common areas and meeting rooms are always presentable
– Manage meeting room schedules and required resources
– Distribute incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages (Domestic and International)
– Provide logistical support and coordination for special events/catering
– Order building access cards, food orders, stationery and business cards
– General support of administration team
– Manage office supplies, coffee, kitchen orders and deliveries
– Help to create a positive welcoming environment for clients, guests, and staff
– Assist with office moves as necessary
– Assist with planning and organizing company functions as needed
– Involvement with charity and volunteering opportunities
– Other related duties as required

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

– Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a Receptionist or Office Administrative position
– High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
– Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and follow up with the right people when necessary
– Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive
– High standards of discretion, ethics, and confidentiality to handle sensitive corporate and personal information and matters
– A positive, self-motivated, and energetic team player attitude with a willingness to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
