What will you do?
The Sr. Project Manager will collaborate with senior leaders and project delivery resources, both internal and external in modernizing GECs capability which could include everything from live chat and mobile messaging, CRM development, improving our data and analytics posture or maintaining our technology baseline.
Success will be measured in how the Delivery Team you lead delivers on business capability as defined by the Product Management Team.
You’ll be responsible in maintaining project roadmaps, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations for GEC Technology initiatives.
You will work in a collaborative and supportive manner with delivery resources (Architects, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Developers, QA) to ensure that the goals set out by the GEC Product team are delivered successfully.
You will be responsible for organizing and hosting regular (at least quarterly) planning sessions where roadmaps and are developed according in accordance with project management best practices.
Role Description
– Account for financial needs, resource needs, constraints to ensure that the right resourcing is available, and all resources are at capacity.
– Identify root cause and troubleshoot people, process, technology issues that constrain teams from making progress and be “hands on” in facilitating the required conversations and be a trusted advisor to leadership on changes that are needed.
– Mentor others through periods of change in strategy.
– Collaborate with technology and business owners on prioritization, training, and related activities.
– Assemble and manage program roadmap and checkpoint gates. Ensuring your team is performing against organization goals and OKRs.
– Holistic accountability program budgets and key milestones.
– Create compelling presentations, roadmaps, plans, etc. to effectively communicate complex issues to the executive team and to stakeholders.
– Facilitate critical trade-off decisions between investment, schedule, and organizational benefit; and assist in driving problem resolution, as needed.
– Draw insights from qualitative and quantitative data analysis, synthesize summaries and make recommendations.

– 5+ years as a project manager, program manager or release mgmt. (operations or support domain)
– 5+ years managing cross-team budgets/financials.
– 5+ Experience working with agile delivery methodologies.
– PMP or PfMP certification or equivalent certification.
– Demonstrated experience in managing $1M+ budgets.
– Proven experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints.
– Power to influence peers / managers and build consensus while dealing with ambiguity.
Nice to Have
– Call center experience
