Since its inception, Asia Pacific Group has had the pleasure of serving major supermarkets and retailers in local and international markets. We are continually looking to expand our product lines and offerings to keep up with the marketplace. With four subsidiaries within this enterprise, we are constantly growing to ensure we can meet the changing needs of the marketplace.
As part of our expansion plan, we are seeking a professional Vice President to develop the strategic plans and manage all departments to achieve company’s long-term goals and objectives. Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for driving and supporting B2B and B2C business and market development activities locally and internationally
Responsible for long-range business planning, analyzing the competitive environment, developing and implementing processes, and ensuring that best practices are captured and shared across the company
Assist with developing business structures and personnel within the company to maximise the results; identify, attract, develop and retain talent through effective employee engagement, communication, and performance management
Assist in the coordination of multi-disciplinary work including handling project planning, and financial control
Assist the Executive Director/President to develop and manage business development budget across products
Responsible for customer management and distribution channel management
Oversee the sales and marketing team members’ daily activity and development including hiring and training.
Act as company’s representative in trade shows, seminars, and industry related events.
Direct, oversee, and evaluate the overseas marketing performance of the export products by monitoring the sales figures and analyzing the data collected from the market and sales transactions
Post-secondary education in International Trade, Business, Marketing, Management or related field plus minimum 5 years of senior management experience in trading industry
Working experience in China and understanding the Chinese business culture are assets
Strong business acumen with communication proficiency, problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
Extensive knowledge about marketing strategies.
Customer and People Management Skills
Proficient in computer and software skills to make data-driven decision.
Creatively and strategically overcome challenges or obstacles.
A highly energetic and self-driven personality
Some travelling is required
