This leadership opportunity may appeal to you! We are currently supporting a non-retail, growing pharmacy client in Surrey, BC with their search for Pharmacy Operations Supervisors.

Advantages
This permanent career opportunity offers full-time hours with 8-hour shifts over 5 days.

Currently, shift times run 6:00 am – 2:00 pm and 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and the shifts may include weekends on a rotating/shared basis. This is a 7-days per week operation. The schedule is provided one month in advance and typically one to two weekends per month are scheduled. There is the potential for overtime as well, as per business needs.

The successful candidate will be provided with competitive pay (estimated to be in the $60-70K range), annual bonus potential, paid vacation, a comprehensive benefits package and if a licensed Registered Pharmacy Technician, professional fees reimbursement as per company policy.

This is a direct-hire, permanent career opportunity, meaning the successful candidate will be on our client’s payroll from day one.

Responsibilities
In this non-retail pharmacy, you will supervise a team of pharmacy support staff (pharmacy assistants) while working along with the team – spending approximately 85% of your time working along with the team to complete patient service duties and dispensing/technical tasks, and the other 15% of the time will be spent managing administrative tasks relating to people, process and service. This is a non-retail setting with an office and pharmacy/dispensary on-site – this is a non-patient-facing role.

Qualifications
– Current or prior experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in any Pharmacy setting, supervising a team of at least 3 to 5 support staff (experience training, coaching, supervising, leading, developing others “without the title” is also suitable – be sure to apply so we can assess your leadership skillset and whether you would be set up for success in this role!
– Current or prior experience in Long Term Care, Specialty, Central Fill, Mail Order or other non-retail setting is preferred
– Computer proficiency (pharmacy software)
– Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician experience in any setting is required
– Strong written verbal and computer skills are required
– Positive outlook with a strong work ethic required
– Deadline-oriented and strong prioritization and organizational skills a must
– Able to work early mornings through early evenings as per schedule and business needs (able to work weekends and additional hours as needed)
