
We have an immediate opening for a resident manager to take over the day-to-day operations of a low-rise in North Vancouver.
This is a full-time, live-in position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– All aspects of suite rentals, including showing suites, reviewing applications, checking references, signing agreements and banking deposits.
– Collecting rent, banking and reporting revenues to head office.
– Keeping up to date on the Residential Tenancy Act and keeping the units in line with these guidelines, rules, and regulations.
– Organizing trades for work to be done daily and on an as-needed basis.
– Inspecting common building areas and identifying required maintenance, including mechanical, security, garbage/recycling, landscaping, etc.
– Cleaning and maintaining the building, including cleaning of common areas in the building, cleaning and maintaining the grounds and cleaning of vacant suites.
– Working a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
– Dealing with resident concerns; responding effectively, consistently, and politely to all tenants, prospects, and team members.
– Acting as the company’s representative at all times, ardently protecting the company brand, and making every effort to manage risk.
– Performing other duties as required to properly manage the apartment building.
Ideal candidates must have previous experience managing a rental building, have an excellent command of English, and be able to work well without supervision. Training is provided in all instances.
Please note that this is a “Pet Free” and “No-Smoking” building – so the manager must be as well.
