General Laborers Needed for Langley Project

We are currently looking for a few laborers to help with a temporary project of adding a racking system to a new warehouse.
This role is Temporary from May 10-21 2021, this is Phase 2 of the project and we are looking for candidates who can commit to the timeline

Project Date: May 10-21 2021

Location: Langley
Salary: $22/HR

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday
7:30 – 5:00 PM

Qualifications
– You will need to operate a scissor lift and adhere to all fall protection guidelines.
– The shifts run from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and the pay is $22/HR
– The location has ample parking and no access to Transit, a reliable vehicle would be ideal
– You can expect to be working in a Warehouse with approximately a team of 8 employees
– This position requires that you have a hard hat, gloves, high visibility vest and steel toe boots.
– Lifting Requirements up to 50 lbs.

Advantages

Responsibilities
– You will be expected to bolt frames into the ground and at elevation
– Building 30 foot high racking frames
– Expect to be working with automated railing systems
– Assemble parts on the ground, working within different teams installing components in various departments
– Safely operating Scissor Lifts
– Maintain and organize the inventory
– Expect to be using power tools, general maintenance
– Working alongside installer -elevated platform work
– Supporting in other departments when required

Qualifications
– You can commit to the project timeline of May 10-21 2021. 7:30-5:00PM
– Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
– You are comfortable working in a dusty environment
– Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
– Ability to work in a high-paced environment
– Able to work OT and work as late as 6:00pm
– Able to start as early as 7:00am if necessary
– Able to work weekends if needed
– A reliable means of transportation is an asset as there is no Transit available

DRESS CODE/PPE: Steel Toes, Hi Vis, Hardhats, Environment is room temperature,
*They Will have gloves, safety glasses and masks on site. Surgical and N95 mask*
