Randstad is currently hiring for Forklift operator/Warehouse associates to join a growing company in Delta, paying $20/hour working afternoon shift.

Afternoon shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Responsibilities:
-Operating material handling equipment including forklift or standup reaches to unload, pick or load orders. Always ensuring safe operation while operating the equipment and staying aware of all obstacles and hazards.
-Physically handling heavy goods through the day by separating, picking, of stacking of products. Ensuring safe lifting practices and safe stacking/packing of products. Inspecting goods while working OT ensure they are damage free and correct is critical
-Performing work accurately and quickly through the handheld or terminal systems, confirming work, and reporting product or order changes/statuses. -Ensuring to scan updates as soon as work is completed, including the scanning of shipments out.
-Maintaining a safe workplace is critical. Keeping the facilities safe and clean while being aware of and notifying the supervisor or manager of obstacles in their area or the workplace in general. Ensuring they complete their daily pre-start checklists before operating equipment and report equipment issues to avoid breakdowns.
-Dealing with customers and/or outside carriers and interacting with them in a professional and courteous manner.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role required
• Should have a reliable means of transportation
• Requires completion of High School diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent only
• 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution facility operating powered lift equipment
