Dog Daycare Attendant and Cat Boarding Head

Daycare Attendants are responsible for managing play, ensuring safety, and cleaning up after up to 35 dogs. A successful candidate will be comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs (10lbs to 170lbs), be ok with walking dogs and working in all weather, be patient and kind, will have some knowledge of dog behaviour and proper play and be ok with lots of cleaning. The right candidate will also have experience working with dogs in a daycare setting. This job is not just cuddling and petting dogs all day. A successful candidate will be active and engaging with dogs, proactive in monitoring safe play and quick with the clean ups of accidents. Dog daycare is not a clean job! It is a busy and hectic environment, but also a lot of fun!

Cat Boarding head will be responsible for all cats in our care. A successful candidate will have the ABC Cat Training qualification. This candidate must have experience working with cats in a boarding facility. The right candidate will also be able to offer cat training services, as well as having Walks and Wags Pet First Aid. The ideal candidate would also have some form of qualification in Cattery Management. This job includes interacting with both cats and their owners, cleaning multiple times a day, keeping track of and updating records.
