Job Description:Role DescriptionRequires an individual consultant to fulfil the role of a Developer/ System Architect to design,develop, implement, and support several systems that provide the above noted services.The Developer/ System Architect is expected to work as member of a cross-functional Agiledevelopment team, within a DevOps environment, that delivers products and services based oniterative, continuous development, where requirements and solutions evolve through directcollaboration and consultation with clients.The proponent must:• regularly attend and actively participate in virtual, daily stand-up meetings, bi-weekly sprintreview, sprint planning and retrospective meetings, quarterly inception meetings,• be available to work up to 40 hours per week, with a minimum of 50% of this time availableweekdays between 8:30am and 5:00 pm PST/PDT,• provide connectivity and hardware to join video conferencing facilitated virtual meetings usingMicrosoft Teams,• be regularly available for scheduled virtual meetings most weekdays between 8:30am and5:00pm PST/PDT,• document all work completed in the issue tracking system (JIRA),• engage under an Information Technology & Management Consulting Professional ServicesAgreement• submit invoicing via Flextrack on a biweekly or monthly basis,• pass a criminal record check security screening,• sign an assignment of copyright and a waiver of moral rights for all work prepared. The proponent will:a) as required and approved by the product owner through the backlog grooming and sprintplanning process the proponent will design and revise architecture, make recommendations,and develop and update components and systems, validate and document implementations,b) regularly review system security vulnerabilities and prepare system and software updates andpatches to address deficiencies as required,c) communicate with product owner, developers, testers, and business stakeholders to ensureproducts developed meet client requirements,d) present results / demonstrations of functionality of development efforts at sprint reviews. Qualification:The proponent must be able to both document working experience with (projects and duration), and ifrequested through reference checks and examination prove knowledge and proficiency of the followingtechnologies and competencies:• Backend application development work experience using Java, Python and JavaScriptprogramming languages.• Establishment of automated continuous integration and deployment pipelines – using both onpremise and cloud hosted services.• Design and development of applications using microservices engineering practices.• Design, development, deployment, and management of containerized applications in aKubernetes environment.• Deploying and managing system infrastructure using infrastructure as code tools.• Developing and integrating authentication and access management flows systems using OIDC,SAML and OAuth 2.0 protocolsCompany Description:Computer Consultants International, Inc.
