Customer Service and Data Entry Representative – Public Sector



Job Description:Altis Recruitment is partnering with a public sector company in Coquitlam, BC to recruit for a Customer Service and Data Entry Representative opportunity. This role is a 3-month contract opportunity to start. The organization is seeking an friendly, enthusiastic and professional candidate to join their personable, engaged and outgoing team. This position would report directly to the Controller and Assistant controller. The main duties would including connecting with members of the community over phone and email, receiving and matching invoices, ensuring divisions PO log is complete and accurate and making sure that invoices are paid or submitted for payment. This position is on-site as the organization is an essential service.Roles and ResponsibilitiesConnecting with commercial customers over the phone who have outstanding balancesProcessing a high volume of customer payments and reconciling all cash receipt batchesUpdate internal system with correspondence and payment informationProcess refunds and mail checksPerform data entry responsibilities as requested by supervisor Qualifications and Experience1+ Years of data entry or administrative related experienceMust be detail oriented and passionate about working in an engaged team settingStrong excel skills and aptitude for numbers and data accuracyStrong interpersonal and time management skillsPlease note that this position is on site as the organization is an essential serviceCompany Description:Altis Recruitment represents the nation’s top talent for contract, temporary and permanent work within the areas of: Finance and accounting, construction and property management, administration, IT and senior-specialized roles.
