Job Description:My client, an established family owned, Warehouse Distribution firm is currently seeking a Senior Customer Service/Administrative Assistant reporting to the Office Manager to provide support to the Warehouse & Sales Team of 9. Duties include customer service, answering phones, customer interface, interacting with warehouse staff, knowledge of stock levels & inventory, ordering products when supplies are low & calling customers when their products are in & interacting with people arriving to buy products. My client is looking for someone who is efficient, detail oriented & happy working in a team environment. This is an extremely important position in the company & the successful candidate will be required to take an active role in providing customer satisfaction. The role extends beyond general administrative and reception duties. This position pays very well, depending on experience + benefits + 3 weeks holidays + bonus (in the fall) + parking + opportunity for career advancement. Hours 8 – 4:30. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Provide general support to customers via email, phone or in person · Support sales staff with preparation of sales orders & reports · Work closely with warehouse staff to maintain & order inventory · Monitor & report the arrival & departure of products coming in & out of the warehouse facility · Provide notifications to customers & relevant internal staff for incoming and outgoing orders · Assist with answering the phones & direct calls as needed · Utilize Sage 50 software to generate purchase orders s & sales orders · Liaise between office & warehouse staff to complete daily objectives · Prepare detailed PDF reports designed to meet engineer specifications under the guidance of project managers · Maintain and manage a variety of online excel reports · Handle administrative requests and queries from office staff · Special projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: · 2+ years of customer service or office experience · Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task & prioritize work · Meticulous attention to detail & problem-solving skills · Excellent written & verbal communication skills · Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Suite) · Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with computers & applications · Strong organizational and planning skills · Ability to manage multiple objectives Job ID: 49821310
