Cloud Governance Specialist


Are you an IT Professional who specializes in all things Cloud Policy Management? Our client is hiring a specialist for their engineering team to work and support the cloud adoption deliverables. This role requires a minimum of 1 year within cloud governance domains within the fintech domain. • This person should have a good understanding of cloud risks and would need to be accountable, self-starter and motivated.
• Support activities to help mature Cloud Governance capabilities focusing on emerging risks related to cloud computing and strengthening Cloud Governance capabilities
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional technology teams to support and mature the Technology Cloud Computing Policy.
• Support driving awareness of Cloud requirements and help extend and enhance capabilities to monitor adherence with policy requirements.
• Serve as a go-to person for cloud governance issues and remediation.
• Monitor and reporting on Cloud risks
• Participate in risk and governance finding remediation activities.
• Manage all activities related with our cloud governance processes for services moving to cloud.
• Manage cloud inventory reporting requirements to satisfy the various forums.
• Support activities that drive cloud adoption

• 3+ years of experience in information technologies in a highly regulated environment
• 2+ years of experience with Technology Policy management
• Cloud Technologist with Cloud Governance experience in complex cloud environments
• Public Cloud Certification(s) – GCP, AWS and MS Azure.
• Relationship builder and team player.
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.
• Experience developing, optimizing, and managing cloud costs analysis processes.
• Experience with technical and operational governance over private and public cloud architectures.
• Working knowledge of the AGILE development framework.
• 1+ years of experience with cloud governance spanning Private, Public, Hybrid Cloud, and SaaS
• 1+ Experience with IT controls, aligned with industry Cloud frameworks, leveraging tools and/or automation to ensure scalability and effectiveness
• Experiences with root cause analysis (RCAs) of cloud related issues
• Cloud and/or Technology related professional certifications
