What you need to know:

Position: Machine Operator (Batch Mixer)

Shifts Available:
Afternoon Shift; Monday to Friday 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm
* NOTE shift will be 9 am – 5 pm for 1st month of training*

Location: Delta, BC

* The batch mixer is responsible for operating and controlling the blending machine
* Measuring ingredients, mixing the batches, and accurate documentation
* Monitoring the blending process to ensure the quality of the mix
* Ensuring the batches are mixed to meet the production requirements as per instructions
* Ability to learn & operate; shear mixers, pumps, processing valves, process controls, etc.
* Ability to operate manual/electric pallet jack
* Ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed

Qualifications:

* Good communication including reading, writing, & speaking
* Able to work unsupervised, as well as working together with others
* Good organizational & mathematical skills
* Able to accurately measure & record ingredients
* Strong mechanical aptitude/troubleshooting abilities
* Knowledge/experience in food industry an asset
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
