Senior Chef de Partie
The Buca famiglia is growing and we are looking for our newest members to join our Back of House team!
Our approach to hospitality is thoughtful and creative, we are proud of our community, our chefs and make it our mission to foster our talented team members.
You will learn authentic and modern techniques inspired and derived from regions across Italy, the art of pasta making by hand, new ways of baking artisan breads and will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and knowledge in fish and meat curing, fritti, pizza making, grill, pastry and so much more.
He or she maintains the highest standard of cleanliness and up-keep of equipment, ensures daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties are carried out. The cooks contribute to building the team and energetic team spirit as well as having an active interest in their fellow employee’s welfare, safety and development.
Responsibilities:
• To create dishes to the exact specifications of the menu
• To complete all prep work in an orderly and timely fashion
• To maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• To arrive on-time and perform in the most professional of manners their duties as outlined by the restaurant management team

Qualifications:

Bread and P{pasta making ability a must!
• Passion for food & culinary excellence
• High level of integrity
• Discipline and vision
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with fellow team members;
• Strong personal leadership and interpersonal skills
• Personal and professional drive; takes initiative
• Exceptional communication skills with all levels of the organization
• Performs well in a performance based culture
• Red Seal Certified or Culinary Management Certificate an asset
