Job Description:Actalent is seeking a Software Security Infrastructure Engineer for an exciting opportunity with a leading telecommunications company! Description: Reporting to Manager, Software Engineering Applications, Security Infrastructure and Tools, you will primarily work on the implementation of security related tooling within the context of a secure software development lifecycle. Specific areas of focus will include development of automated pipelines, code signing, and certificate and key management. You will also be responsible for building actionable dashboards for associated tooling and pipelines. You will perform scripting, coding, and integration of security tools and develop and maintain automated pipelines for security tooling in the SSDLC. You will undertake regular risk assessments and analysis of implemented solutions. As an internal security champion, you will provide subject matter expertise on SSDLC while working collaboratively with engineers, architects, managers and other professional and technical personnel at different security quality gates and stages of the secure software development process. Must Have Requirements: 1. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE DEPLOYING/DEVELOPING CODE SIGNING SYSTEMS 2. Experience developing common security infrastructure at scale supporting multiple products 3. Experience developing using an object oriented programming language such as: Python, Shell, C/C++, or Java 4. Experience with Microservices Additional Assets: Proven experience implementing security related tooling and pipelines at large scale enterprise organizations while using security protocols such as: RSA, SSH, public & private key generation, SSL. Development of actionable dashboards and implementation of DB schemas relying on backends such as SQL, Elastic or Mongo, other No-SQL. Observability & visualization: Grafana, Kibana, Alerts & Alert Integration. Any one of the following security certifications: CSSLP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or other relevant and accredited DevSecOps related certification. Experience with developing tools to support secure boot and hardware root of trust. Practices & frameworks knowledge: SLSA Framework, Cyber Defense Matrix (CDM). Experience with analysis tools such as SCA, DAST, SAST. Practices & Frameworks: Threat Modelling, Agile, DevOps, OWASP. Experience with translating security publications such as ISO 2700X:2022, NIST 800-XXX into actionable strategy. Knowledge of Security vendor assessment and POCs for new security tools. Additional Information: This position is based out of Ottawa, but can be done remotely from anywhere in Canada.
