Job Description

Roudel Medical is a small growing Medical Distribution Company that has been servicing all of Ontario for the last 10+ years. We are currently looking for a full-time Shipping & Receiving / Customer Service position to start immediately. We require a candidate for the long term since several months are needed for training.

Customers do not visit our location. Orders are placed by phone, fax or through emails.

Social distancing is practiced in the warehouse. We provide our staff PPE’s to conduct their job safely.

Hourly Rate: $15 to $18 (Depending on Candidate)
Hours: Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm (Overtime Required)

Job Duties include but not limited to:

-Shipping/Receiving and other general warehouse duties such as, verify quality and quantity of items against vendor packing slips, unpack product, stock shelves, etc.,

-Order picking, organizes distribution and shipping of products. Makes necessary verifications against documents, prepares the merchandise and moves to the appropriate area.

-Contacts transport companies and vendors to place orders or expedite, trace or return merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders.

-Participates in taking inventory. Maintains storage area, organizes, and places stock on shelves.

-Answers all phone calls. Takes Customer orders and provides product information.
-Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
-Maintains financial accounts by processing customer adjustments.
-Equipment handling/setup and installation at Customer location. Candidate having their own vehicle for transportation is preferred.

Skills/Qualifications: Excellent customer service and communication skills, Attention to Detail is a key job requirement, Quality Focus, Problem Solving, Strong Computer Skills especially excel, good organizational skills, physically strong and active.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service. The candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, a true team player, good in multi-tasking and will be highly reliable.
