Security Manager (GTA) A reputable Security Services Provider is looking for suitable candidates for Management Positions in the GTA. At the moment we have 3 full time vacancies. Please note that successful candidates will be required to verify certain information as well as undergo a comprehensive background check and provide work references. Specific Functions, Duties and Responsibilities: • Managing a workforce of 12-15 Security guards (working in shifts) • Serving as first point of contact for guards and client(s) • Must be able to efficiently respond and react to any and all emergency situations that may occur at the workplace and client facilities within the scope of work assigned. • Must be able to prepare reports and presentations with regards to all aspects of the security work, resources, challenges and personnel. • Other managerial duties assigned on occasion from time to time by the COO. • Recognize the importance and uniqueness of each and every client and special skills and attributes of each and every Employee will be a crucial element in performing day-to-day duties successfully. • Ensure and promote adequate performance levels and impeccable compliance at all times. Reward excellence, assign tasks, manage resources, distribute and allocate responsibilities. • Identify and solve problems, multi-task in a high paste environment, delegate authorities, coordinate assignments and process feedback. • Recruit, screen, hire, train and retain qualifies staff-embers. • Create and maintain a safe, efficient, productive and pleasant work environment.

An Ideal Candidate would have the following advantages: • Relevant experience in the Security Industry (as Supervisor or Manager) • Canadian Military or Law enforcement background • Must have full time availability to work all days of the week and be available on the phone after hours • Valid Provincial Security Guard license (P.A.L an asset). • Canadian Citizenship • Minimum High school education/equivalence • Ontario “G” Driver license • Fluent in both verbal and written English with any additional language considered an asset.
