Job Description:TELUS and their premier vendor are looking to bring a Sales & Marketing Manager on to their team. The TELUS Consumer Health team focuses on empowering Canadians to take control of their health and wellness, and that of their loved ones, with the right information, tools, and support they need to live healthier and happier lives. To support the rapid growth of Consumer Health solutions, the Consumer Health Complementary Channel team is looking to partner with a variety of community operators to increase awareness and establish new distribution channels. We are looking for someone to grow our distribution network, build robust go-to-market programs to leverage these new partners and optimize overall performance. The channel partnerships we have are a critical element to helping us reach as many Canadians as possible to achieve our goal of improving health outcomes. As a Sales & Marketing Manager, you will work to accelerate our channel expansion and growth plans. You will be responsible for growth of our Consumer Health Channel through acquisition of new community based retailer partners and driving sales through those partners. You will develop and deliver the end-to-end GTM plan for new channel partners, as well as bring forward ideas of new capabilities required to continuously increase channel performance. Driving sales in this new channel will be achieved by developing and executing a comprehensive sales plan, cultivating strong customer relationships, and overseeing applicable GTM (go-to-market) activities. Specifically, this will be accomplished by providing our partners with the most reliable sales support through exceptional responsiveness, leveraging relationships as a competitive advantage, and ensuring every interaction lives up to the TELUS brand promise and providing our clients best-in-class experience. Responsibilities: ● Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan to target new partners in the Ontario region (and potentially select partners outside of Ontario) ● Create strategies and identify opportunities to penetrate a new market ● Grow TELUS distribution by acquiring new retailer partners to sell our Consumer Health services through cold-calling targeted potential partners and/or referrals ● Support the GTM (go-to-market) activities required to support these partners as the channel expands ● Service your established partner locations with the most reliable sales support through exceptional responsiveness and leveraging your strong relationships as a competitive advantage to maximize return and achieve total transactions target. Educate channel partners on TELUS’ value proposition and changes to ensure top of mind awareness of TELUS ● Ensure the TELUS brand is represented well and merchandising standards are met ● Gather and report on competitive information & market dynamics. Liaise with internal groups (Operations, Pricing, Marketing, Leadership) to advocate on your channel’s evolving needs, through effective and timely communication which will contribute to the growth of your territory sales Required Skills & Abilities: ● A recognized a ‘people person’, you are respected for your outstanding relationship development skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive customer relationships as well as work effectively with cross-functional teams ● Proven self-starter with strong prospecting and closing skills in a sales environment with the ability to find, develop and close leads ● Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and objectives ● Ability to influence and affect behavior change with individuals through effective coaching and training facilitation ● Ability to operate in a fast paced, changing environment without direct support on a daily basis and with an ability to successfully manage multiple initiatives at the same time ● An individual who is passionate about improving the lives of others, and helping older adults age in place ● Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills ● Ability & confidence to do presentations / trainings to small and large groups (virtually & in-person) ● Work with minimal supervision through a flexible and mobile work style: ● Working from a home-based office ● Flexible to work evenings and weekends when required ● Knowledgeable in the area of Health is an asset ● Advanced working knowledge of Google Suite ● Ability to communicate in French is an asset Required Experience / Professional Designation / Certification: ● Completed university in Business or Health related discipline. ● Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in a sales or healthcare industry, with hands-on knowledge of selling products through a retail partner to the end consumer ● Valid driver’s license & access to a reliable vehicle Benefits & Perks: ● Total Compensation – 80k/yr (Base + Commission) ● Benefits starting immediately ● Gas allowance ● Work with an industry leading company If you are a go – getter, are able to effectively create strategies, and are confident in your abilities to penetrate new markets and grow a team from scratch, we want to meet with you.
