Pearl Diver now hiring Line Cooks


Pearl Diver is hiring full time line cooks.
$21.00/hr (salary plus cash gratuities).
Full medical benefits after 3 months probationary work period.
5 shifts per week 3pm to 11pm approximately.
Restaurant is closed Mondays but candidates may be scheduled to work any other days including Sunday.

We are a full service oyster, seafood and grill restaurant located downtown at 100 Adelaide Street EAST.

Pearl Diver kitchen prides itself on maintaining a respectful and positive workplace. We want our cooks to enjoy what they do, get paid a living wage and have a life outside of work. Our staff is composed of people of all ages and nationalities. Currently in the restaurant we speak English, French, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tamil and Korean.

Some cooking experience is an asset but we are willing to train recent culinary school graduates. Most of our staff have been trained here during George Brown externships and liked the kitchen so much they stayed on permanently.

The job will include prep and service on garde manger, grill, pan work, sauce, some desserts and some fish butchery. Everything here is made in house.
