Small Canadian company looking to expand business. We are looking for an induvial who is able to successfully handle multiple areas of the business and assist with growth on an international scale. This is a new position and it would be suitable for someone who has previously worked on a green playing field and, is able to be in one position today be in another the following day. The position requires flexibility on working hours when dealing with international clients.
Job Summary
This position will see you leading the daily operations of the business and leading the business development within the Asia pacific region. You will be utilizing your strong set of research skills, organization, account management, export knowledge and people skills to ensure tasks are completed by organizing schedules, roles, responsibilities and, resolve any issues that may occur while reporting directly to the owner of the business.
Responsibilities

• Research and Development within the Asia Pacific market
• Capacity to recognize potential for growth
• Negotiation on rates for exports with appropriate method of transport
• Prepare quotations for existing and potential clients
• Provide any coaching/counselling that team members need to perform their roles
• Manage the flow of day-to-day tasks
• Channelize related tasks such as scheduling, leave requests, etc. to streamline operations
• Build and maintain strong team relationships
• Demonstrate consistent account management skills
• Ability to identify and implement coaching opportunities on a routine basis.

Qualifications
• Lead a team of 10-15 team members reporting directly to you
• Human Resources Certificate/Degree
• Working experience +6 years export market
• Working experience + 6 years account management
• Proficient in resolving and mitigating difficult situations
