Job Description:
We are seeking an Independent Contractor Mover Helper with experience in commercial moving and a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be responsible for moving kitchen cabinets and other items for our customers. The candidate must be physically fit to perform heavy duties such as lifting, kneeling, and pushing items up to 50lbs with help.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload kitchen cabinets and other items to and from a 26 ft Box Truck
Ensure that all items are securely packed and transported safely
Comply with the company’s health and safety protocols
Provide excellent customer service to our clients
Requirements:
Long experience in commercial moving, previous experience in moving kitchen cabinets is an asset
Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to commute to Thornhill on their own expense
Monday to Friday availability
Please note that this is a part-time position as an Independent Contractor with a fixed biweekly salary. The exact amount will depend on the candidate’s level of experience and performance.
