The Valhalla Inn is holding a Job Fair Thursday, August 15, 2019. Various hospitality positions ranging from Full Time to Part Time will be available. You are encouraged to bring a resume.

Some Positions available include:

House Person Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated) Ensure maximum cleanliness of public and back of house areas to the quality standards of the Hotel. Follow established policies and procedures, which will maintain these standards and follow the proper use of safety and/or protective equipment and clothing should they be required. Report to the Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor in order to collect daily assignments.

Room Attendants Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)  Constantly provide professional, friendly and engaging service to our guests, this includes attending to all guest requests and concerns. Ensure assigned guest rooms are cleaned according to hotel/brand standards Deliver guest room supplies Ensure security of guest rooms Communicate all guest room maintenance issues/concerns to Supervisor

Room Attendants Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)  Wash all linens as per standards set for the department and maintain chemical levels and monitor wash systems and sequences. Dry and fold all linens as per correct standards and follow the correct procedures to fold linens. Completing you all duties in the time frame. Adhering to any requirement as identified by the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Bell Person Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)  Provide consistently excellent customer service for all hotel guests Develop a good understanding of hotel layout and be able to give directions to all rooms and services Any other reasonable request made by the Guest Services Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager and Manager on Duty Interact effectively with hotel guests and co-workers to create a positive environment Handle luggage for hotel guests Safely operates hotel vehicles to pick up and drop off guests.

Guest Service Agent Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated) Checking guests in and out. Billing and payment posting. Entering information into documents to be sent out. Answering phones. Enter or alter reservations for individuals, teams and corporate groups.
