We are a medical clinic seeking a qualified, motivated, friendly individual to become part of our team. We are looking for a Medical Office/Administrative Assistant/Receptionist who will assist with reception and office administrative duties.
THIS IS A LONG TERM PERMANENT POSITION FOR 24 HOURS A WEEK WITH THE ANTICIPATION OF INCREASED HOURS OVER TIME.
Qualifications and abilities:
MOA qualification or experience with Med Access/Accuro required
FLUENT in English
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multitask
Must be able to work as part of a team
Reliable and punctual
Detail orientated
Excellent time management skills
Strong awareness of issues of confidentiality
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
Very good computer skills and proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Patient reception and answering of phone calls
Making appointments and rescheduling appointments
Management of multiple doctor schedules and tracking of consultations
Faxing, scanning, maintenance of electronic filing and data entry
Assistance to physicians as required
References will be required. Please include at least 2 references in your resume.
A Criminal Record Check may be required.
First two month of employment will be considered as training and paid at $14/hr.
