As a Media Sales Consultant, you will help local businesses in Regina achieve their marketing goals by providing performance marketing solutions, including a full suite of digital marketing services – SEM, SEO, social advertising, social media management, and website and app design. In addition to these as well as print advertising and flyer printing and distribution, our list of solutions is continuously growing along with ever-changing technologies. The Role: • Deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers to sell new advertising campaigns and to protect and increase existing advertising. • Identify your customers’ business goals and advertising needs and work collaboratively with your media strategist and sales manager to prepare a sales presentation proposing advertising solutions to meet the customers’ needs. • Provide excellent customer service to your existing account base while continuously prospecting for new business. • Meet advertising sales targets by generating and closing new business opportunities. • You will continuously learn and grow in this role with ongoing sales and product training and opportunity for advancement. Who you are: You are a confident, enthusiastic, organized and driven individual. You thrive in a fast-paced multi-platform environment of print, web, and mobile with an in-depth understanding of the digital marketing landscape including Search and Social Media. You enjoy working in a team environment and helping your peers. You are adaptable to strategic change in a competitive industry. Your Qualifications: You have education and/or work experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in the media industry. You have knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling advertising solutions. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, understanding of advertising solutions, and sales techniques. You have an excellent comprehension of digital marketing solutions and social media. Facebook or Google certifications are an asset, but not required. You must have excellent computer skills, including good typing speed, accurate order entry, navigating multiple programs, web-based software, email, and Microsoft Excel. You are an excellent communicator in-person, over the phone and by email. You must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and current insurance.
