Job Description:JOB DESCRIPTION REMCAN Projects LP. (REMCAN) is a full service contractor for the railway industry and we are currently hiring for qualified Boomtruck operators! PLEASE NOTE: This job will require travel throughout multiple cities in your province with the possibility of other cities in your part of the country. For example, if you are located in ON, you will be working throughout ON and possibly Eastern Canada. If you are located in BC, you will be working in BC and parts of Western Canada. In this role, candidates will be expected to be able to: · demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Boom truck operations and crane handling · Handle railcars and complying with handling procedures. · Conduct mechanical & safety inspections as required and perform necessary maintenance and repairs · Be responsible for various administrative tasks in regards to production reports, timekeeping, etc · Perform general labour with crew as required · Be responsible to ensure compliance to all Remcan and customer safety policies and procedures WHAT REMCAN HAS TO OFFER: Between physical labour, heavy machinery, and emergency repairs, railway maintenance and construction can be a tough environment.
