The incumbent drives a 14 or 16 rented Cube Van to deliver new tires to our clients according to an established route. With the assistance of a Warehouse Clerk, the driver must ensure that the tires (quantity and type) in his van match to the delivery documents. The routes are within the greater Ottawa area for the Ottawa warehouse and the greater Gatineau area for the Gatineau warehouse. Since our trucks are rented, the temporary employees must be at least 21 years of age or older. Drivers must possess a valid Class G license (not a G2) for Ontario or a valid Class 5 license for Quebec. The validity of the drivers license must be verified with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario or the Société de lassurance automobile du Québec prior to employees start date. Temporary employees must be fairly familiar with the Ottawa area.

ORDER PICKER

The incumbent will receive order forms for which he must locate a specific quantity, size and type of tire within our racking system throughout the warehouse. Ideally, this person will have a valid lift certification as well as Working at Heights training. However, we have an in-house trainer in each warehouse who can do a refresh course and provide a certification to the employee but this can only be done at the beginning of the rush period.

Similar to above but the tires are mounted on rims which requires more physical endurance by the employee.

WAREHOUSE CLERK

The incumbent will load new tires into vehicles and must ensure that the quantity, size and type match each individual order.

NOTE: Temporary employees in the above-listed positions must be able to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis.
