Ronalee Carey Law is a boutique immigration and refugee law firm located close to the Lyon LRT station. We are looking for a legal administrative assistant. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate of a college diploma program in office or business administration, a law clerk program, or an immigration case manager program.
Qualifications – You must have excellent spoken and written English. Fluency in French would also be an asset, as would ability in another language, as we serve clients who speak many different languages. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat is required. Familiarity with Clio, MailChimp, Twitter and Facebook would be a benefit. You must have good organizational skills and be able to follow detailed instructions. Customer service and office experience would be a benefit.
Ronalee Carey Law provides services to clients from all over the world. As such, you must have experience working with individuals from different cultures.
Your job duties will be:
· Responding to inquiries from potential clients
· Opening and closing files, maintaining internal records
· Communicating with clients to obtain information and documents
· Downloading and populating government application forms, completion of online government application forms through various online portals
· Preparation of routine correspondence
· Assisting in preparing applications by organizing documents, creating title pages, copying/scanning documents, and sending applications by courier or by uploading to a government website
· Entering time logs, creating invoices, billing credit cards, and creating account statements
This position is full-time, but the total number of hours per week is flexible (between 30 to 37.5 hours), as are hours of work (you may set your hours anytime between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday). Parents needing to work around childcare responsibilities are welcome to apply.

Starting hourly rate: $20
