Are you an experienced RVT or Recptionist/Veterinary assistant with the desire to work in a client service oriented practice with a friendly atmosphere? We might be the right fit for you.

About us:

We are located in the Ottawa’s east end, easy to access Blackburn Hamlet neighbourhood. We focus on excellent client service and patient care (we run on 30 to 60 minutes appointments base).

We opened in January 2017 as a fresh startup and have been rapidely growing since. We now need to expand our current team of 3 veterinarians 4 registered veterinary technicians and 2 assistants. Our team is bilingual and about 40% of our clientele is francophone.

Our goal is to have a work place where the whole team, the clients and the patients are happy. We have incorporated more and more Fear Free procols and encourage our staff to get Fear Free certified. We are looking for:

Bilingual (French/English) would be preferable, required if no experience working in a Veterinary hospital

Excellent client/patient care/customer service/people skill

Avimark knowledge is an asset

1 year experience or more would be preferable

For the RVT position, will be asked to perform diagnostics procedures (blood collection, radiographs, lab work), surgery (catheter placement, induction, monitoring, post-operative care), dental prophy, client education, restraint, grooming (nail trims, ear plucking/cleaning, etc) and some tasks in reception (booking appointments, follow-up calls, payments), .

For the receptionist position, work would be expected reception tasks such as booking appointments, follow-up calls, payments .

We have flexible hours (and we are closed every long-weekend as well as all Saturday afternoons, Sundays and Holidays), No on call. We are a tight-knit group, have modern equipment in a brand new facility (includiing digital dental and whole body radiograph, no film processing!).
