\*Responsibilities:\*
Primary functions include providing care according to the established resident care plan including all components of activities of daily living and supporting participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
The Personal Support Worker is required to perform their duties in a manner consistent with the core values and employee guiding principles, ensure resident safety, and demonstrate customer service excellence.
As an integral part of the home and community care team, you will support, encourage and provide independence for patients in their homes, community setting, and long term Care facility by assisting with activities of daily living.
Qualifications:
experience as a PSW.
* Experience in a Long-term care facility and in the Home Care Community an asset.
* CPR AND FIRST AID (Required).
* Chinese Dialect(Hunan Dialect)
* Chinese Culture background
* Driver License
* Can accompany the patients to travel back to China when necessary
Ability to commute an asset:
* ON: reliably commute (Preferred)
Work Location: client home
Expected start date: ASAP.
Job Types: Full-time
Salary: $17 per hour
Schedule:
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
