Advantages for the position of Maintenance Mechanic:

-Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
-Implement and respect preventative maintenance procedures
-Order material as needed, ensuring proper material is purchased without causing delays and properly recorded in the system
-Conducted and follow maintenance planning and scheduling activities
-Make recommendations to ensure quality and efficiency of manufacturing
-Operate machinery and assist contractors as needed
-Provide maintenance training to manufacturing team members
-Fabricate parts as required
-At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or millwright in a manufacturing facility
-Experience in light or heavy equipment maintenance is an asset
-Previous experience programming PLCs
-Experience developing and implementing maintenance programs
-Experience with procurement and managing contractors
-Ability to troubleshoot effectively and independently
