Job Description:Job Purpose The Lincoln Operations Manager is the dealership leader for the Lincoln brand. She or he oversees all aspects of the Lincoln business and is responsible for its success in growth and profitability. Vehicle Sales · Build a Lincoln dedicated sales team · Monthly Lincoln sales target and inventory management · Inventory management process, including managing wholesale order process · Ensure thorough vehicle arrival inspections are completed · New vehicle delivery process include: o New Vehicle Orientation usage o Lincoln Connect activation · Customer viewpoint (CVP) results · New vehicle sales follow-up calls · Lincoln marketing including: o Advertising/Lincoln Ad Covenant Program guidelines – required spend metrics o Lincoln exclusive website/auto trader o Social Media o VIP/Vehicle launch events o Lincoln Discovery Drive activation Service/Lincoln Ownership · Customer viewpoint (CVP) results · Manage Lincoln Dedicated Service area/desk · Pick-up and delivery process · Ensure client database usage · Courtesy vehicles · Car wash · Surprise and Delight program · Ensure Client Relationship Centre inquiries are handled Other · Lincoln Commitment Program requirements: o In-dealership reviews o Lincoln training requirements Principal Duties and Responsibilities · Builds productive working relationships both within and across departments through clear communications using different forums · Instills client and employee confidence · Speaks clearly, concisely, and effectively in groups and on-on-one · Identifies client concerns, needs and expectations so that action plans can be determined and implemented · Ensures that Sales Consultants use the Follow Up and Concern Resolution standards by giving a follow-up call to 100% of customers within 72 hours of purchase or visit · Assists in resolving all customer concerns when necessary · Promotes cooperation and teamwork among all employees · Uses technology to improve daily operations; maintains proficiency in use of in-house computer systems · Applies information found in Lincoln Canada manuals, publications and other documents · Utilizes new systems or processes implemented by Ford/Lincoln or the dealership · Ensures self and employees remain current in new and/or updated Lincoln training Skills · Be a proactive problem solver · Master the art of hospitality, have a sense of luxury · Create the feeling of a warm welcome/warm farewell, have a good sense of “the human touch” · Ability to smile, be positive and manage stress · Be attentive, available and empathetic · Be well informed and “in the know” · Anticipate needs; know how to manage wait time · Be responsive and effective, and always follow-up · Have an exemplary and respectful attitude at all times · Have an impeccable presentation at all times · Ability and willingness to change work practices or priorities, and effectively handle multiple work demands Education & Experience · 2 years’ experience as a sales manager or assistant manager in the automotive industry is preferred · 1 year supervisory experience is required · Secondary School Diploma or equivalent required · University of College Degree with a strong emphasis on business skills preferred · Class G Driver’s License required · OMVIC certification or ability to become certified is required Special Conditions · Full time work, approximately 40-48 hours per week · Able to participate in snow removal during winter months We thank all applicants in advance for their interest, however, only those candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
