Trim and Proper (Ottawa’s Hedge Specialists) is looking for an experienced Foreman to join our growing team!

Our focus is to provide hedge maintenance services (trimming, planting, repairs and removal) within established timelines with emphasis on total client satisfaction.
Qualifications: Successful candidates should have the following qualifications: Minimum of 3+ years landscape experience Valid G class license with own transportation to shop located in Dunrobin Comfortable working at heights on ladders and possess general ladder safety knowledge Reliability a must Experience working with and maintenance of small engine equipment Positive attitude Leadership qualities – be able to direct a crew, but also work within the crew as a team player sharing same end goal Current WHMIS and Workplace Health & Safety Awareness training (will be provided if candidate does not have valid certificates)
Responsibilities Include: Driving G Class work truck to various job sites within the Ottawa and surrounding areas Clearly and effectively communicate with the crew and interact with our valued clients as required Daily checks of equipment to ensure functional and properly maintained Hedge maintenance services (trimming, planting, repairing & removal of cedar hedges) at ground level as well as working on ladders, ensuring safe practices and cleanliness of client’s property after job is completed
Salary: Pay is commensurate with experience: – Starting pay $20-$25 per hour with no salary caps/limits on pay increases – Bi-weekly pay – direct deposit – Work days Monday to Fridays (weather pending) – Average hours per week range 36-44 hours
