Responsibilities of a Shipper/ Receiver
-Lead the Shipping & Receiving department to meet key business objectives including safety,
quality, productivity, monthly inventory, and delivery, etc.
-unloading and loading trucks
– Supporting team with order picking.
-Responsible for the stockroom inventory-control, oversee physical counts of stock,
and investigating discrepancies.
-Responsible for the daily upkeep of the stockroom and inventory tracking system
-Use of Microsoft Office and Excel
-Can lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
-Oversee all shipments, incoming inventory, and storage operation
-Operate forklift, or pallete jack, and hand and power tools
-Other general duties
-A minimum of a year experience in Shipping and Receiving
-Physically fit for the job- can lift up to 50 lbs
-Attention to detail a MUST
-Have steel toe safety footwear
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
–Forklift license or certificate an asset
-Ability to work in a team environment with a minimum of supervision, and able to communicate effectively with lead-hand, co-workers and customers
