Bookkeeper/Office Administrator


This is an all encompassing position for a trio of related companies. There are many roles to step into to complete the day to day responsibilities. Some of those roles are as follows:

Process, record and reconcile A/R and A/P
Conduct all data entry of cash receipts and costs in billing and accounting system
Prepare bank deposits and complete bank reconciliations
Review and remit GST/HST
Prepare materials for year-end financial statement and tax reporting
Check the accuracy of business transactions

Payroll responsibilities including, source deduction remittances, T4s and ROEs, EHT, WSIB
Serve as the internal resource to staff on company procedures
Benefits administrator
Maintaining employee/driver training and re-certification schedules

Fleet Administration
Collect and verify drivers’ timesheets
Ensure the daily driver logs are correct and reconciled to invoiced work
Ensure scale ticket information is correct.
Track kilometers and fuel litres per vehicle for quarterly or annual reporting and remittances – IFTA, CVOR, IRP
Manage and reconcile fuel purchases to vehicles
Renew truck plate stickers and decals annually and as needed
Ensure vehicles have all required permits and paperwork needed to operate

Administrative Role
Provide accurate word-processing support by composing and editing a variety of documents. This includes but not limited to highly confidential correspondence, contracts, proposals, invoices, quotes and tenders
Review tenders, contacts and legal documents to ensure accuracy
Coordinating contract approvals and signatures, and then filing contracts
Update and maintain office policies and procedures
Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
Prepare, review and modify general templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence materials

Attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to set priorities are sought after skills. Experience in the trucking and automotive industries is considered an asset. Please send resumes to
