Bilingual Human Resources Assistant


We have an immediate need for a bilingual human resources assistant! Our client, a not-for Profit, is actively seeking an experienced human resources professional for a 1 year contract, with a possibility for extension! This is a full-time 1 year contract that is needed to start within 2 weeks. The salary range is between $48K-59K.

What you will be doing as the bilingual human resources assistant:
•In charge of preparing interview packages for the HR advisors
•Greeting and performing orientation for new employees on their first day
•Tracking employees in the internal system and updating their records on a bi-weekly basis
•In charge of full-cycle recruitment for casual employees
•Providing administrative support for: creating departmental reports (as needed), record keeping, filing, scheduling, recording and distributing meeting minutes, preparing draft correspondence, coordinating meetings and responding to internal and external inquiries.
•Other similar duties as assigned

Qualifications as the bilingual human resources assistant:
•2 + years experience supporting a human resources department, or similar
•Fluently bilingual in ENG and FR (written, read, spoken)
•College diploma in a related field such as Human Resources or Business is required. University degree preferred.
•Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Lotus Notes and HRMS would be considered a definite asset!
•Exceptional time management skills and able to prioritize multiple deadlines
•Certified Human Resources Professional designation is an asset.
