The Help Desk Technician is responsible for managing support tickets for desktop and end user issues as well as telecom support. Additionally, this position is responsible for system administration of various servers, and follows and maintains a 5S culture and mindset.Responsibilities:Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware: such as company applications and Microsoft Windows and productivity suitesProvide training including developing “how to” guides, and design and maintain effective workflowDiagnose, install, modify, and/or repair computer hardware and software including peripherals: such as drivers, plugin, desktop and laptop supportResolves technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)Provide reporting to Network Administrator to determine recurrent malfunctionsParticipate in IT projects: such as migration to cloud, upgrade to Office 365, etc. Provide on call supportQualification and Requirements:Post-secondary education, college or university degree in computer information systems (CIS), help desk administration, technical support, and network administrationMicrosoft Certified Professional (MCP) and/or CompTIA A+3+ years in a helpdesk or IT related roleWorking experience with anti-virus, malware and spyware tools*** Please submit a cover letter with your application.ScalableHR and our clients’ value diversity.
