Job Description:Our client in Toronto (close to the Pearson Airport area) is seeking a Student Ambassador to join their team starting May 15th for the summer (16 weeks contract). As a brand ambassador for our client, you will be responsible for delivering the outreach program to the general public at pop-ups and at community festivals throughout GTA. The ideal candidate will have a G license and must be able to work flexible hours full-time from May 15 to end of August 2023 (16 week contract) with a flexible schedule including the weekends! Job duties include: * Promoting or client’s mission and story in the community and at various community events throughout GTA * Providing support for on-site setup and teardown at community activations, tasks may include some heavy lifting of tent and marketing materials * Sourcing and writing content for communications and social media channels where appropriate * Filling out daily reports after each event activation * Providing general administrative and logistics support * Other duties as required Qualifications : * Availability to work full-time from mid May to the end of August 2023 (16 weeks) and within a flexible schedule that will include weekends, holidays, (Canada Day, Civic Holiday) and afternoons * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Interest in working in community or marketing or experience in customer service * Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and work well independently and in a team * Enjoy working in an ever-changing, exciting and fast-paced environment * Motivated and energetic team player with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done * Preference will be given to youth living in Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton * Flexibility and ability to work in outdoor conditions in all types of weather with outdoor washrooms * Candidates will be provided with at least 30 hours of training before the team is activated * Must have a valid G driver’s license Other Requirements of Employment: * Must be able to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance (Driving Abstract) Company Description Altis Recruitment represents the nation’s top talent for contract, temporary and permanent work within the areas of: Finance and accounting, construction and property management, administration, IT and senior-specialized roles.
